Dr Steiner completed medical school at the University of Texas in Houston in 1981. He completed his General Surgery residency and an ECMO fellowship at LSU in New Orleans and the Ochsner Clinic. His Pediatric Surgery Fellowship was completed at LeBonheur Children's Hospital.
